Unearthed marks the debut collection of Bodies of Solace, a limited run, five look trans seasonal capsule of clothes that cry. Designed for layering and constructed to erode over time, the collection explores vulnerability, suffering, and melancholy in search of solace.
Delicate and structured surfaces are layered, distressed and unsettled, allowing the garments to exist in oscillation between fragility and stability. Made slowly and intuitively in Aotearoa, New Zealand using only natural fibres, each piece is shaped through eco-dye and controlled fraying, creating weathered surfaces that evolve through time and wear.
